Members of TAB must attend meetings on a regular basis.
Members are expected to participate in meeting conversations and contribute ideas.
Members must have a valid e-mail account that is checked regularly.
- Must be a high school student, or in between ages 14 to 18.
TAB is a group of innovative and energetic teens in Grades 7 to 12, who help shape the future of the Library by developing programs and services, recommending materials for purchase, and promoting the Library to other teens. TAB meet once a month and has a blast creating new ways to make the Library "teen friendly."
Lots of libraries have advisory boards for their teenagers. A place where teens can voice their opinions, ask for materials and programs, and meet peeps from different schools (or even homeschoolers).
The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a way for you to have a voice at the library, participate in programs with other teens, and help others in your community.
A Teen Advisory Board is a group of teen volunteers who meet regularly with a librarian facilitator to offer input on library services and co-design library programs. Teen Advisory Boards help librarians create programs that meet the needs of youth in their community.

Photo Permission
In the course of daily operations, the library may take photographs within public areas of the library. Written permission is not needed for Library staff to take photographs of groups or crowds including children in the library building or during library sponsored events.
