The VolunTEEN/VolunTWEEN Program for 2025!

If you:

  • Are finishing 5th-9th grades
  • Love the Library
  • Need service hours
  • Want to help your community -- this is for YOU!

This program will offer tweens and teens two hours per week at the library volunteering on Wednesdays from 1-3 PM throughout the length of the Summer Reading Program. Volunteers will be assigned rotating tasks of prepping, cleaning, straightening, organizing, etc. for the first hour each week and then will reunite for an hour of fun creative work--group art projects, games, or even a pizza party at the end!

 

Volunteers will be given a Volunteer Lanyard to wear while working and then to keep after the program. You only need to sign up ONCE here online, even if you plan to attend all seven sessions during the summer. Please let us know if there are dates you will be unavailable ahead of time if possible.

Photo Permission

In the course of daily operations, the library may take photographs within public areas of the library. Written permission is not needed for Library staff to take photographs of groups or crowds including children in the library building or during library sponsored events.
